Shelbourne Motors Nissan is one of the first in the country to receive a sneak preview of the much anticipated Juke, at its Tandragee Road dealership.
An impressive 1/3 scale, detailed model of the new car, will be delivered to the dealership next week, giving customers a taste of what is to come before sales start in September. The innovative display will feature a touch screen information centre where customers can find out more about this energetic new compact crossover from Nissan.

Part rugged SUV, part funky sports car, Juke is a ground-breaking compact crossover providing buyers with a stylish alternative to the conventional urban hatchback, and is poised to take the car market by storm.
British built, the Juke brings exciting advancements in engine technology, cabin design and turbocharged efficiency, ensuring its place as one of the most influential newcomers of 2010.
Extending Nissan’s successful line up of innovative crossover, including the successful Murano and Qashqai, Juke is a distinctive combination of SUV toughness and sporting style with prices starting at £12,795.
Paul Ward, Dealer Principal at Shelbourne Motors Nissan, says: “We’re thrilled to be one of the first UK dealers to get a sneak preview of the new Juke. The model display is a novel way of allowing prospective customers to get a real feel for what is a fresh, cheeky and energetic new crossover from Nissan, before it hits the market. There’s an interactive touch screen, video footage, pictures and product information bringing the car to life and whetting customers appetites for what is an amazing new car.”
Available in three engine sizes: 115bhp 1.6 petrol, 187bhp 1.6 petrol turbo and 109bhp 1.5 diesel and nine colours, the Juke boasts a distinctive body, raised ride height and the option of four-wheel drive with torque vectoring.
At the front of the car, the ‘sump guard’ forms part of the air intake assembly and the lights reflect the car’s sporting ability. Split into two distinct elements, some frame the upper half of the bonnet with running lights and indicators, while the main and dipped beams are mounted lower on the nose of the car as a nod to the rally cars of the 60s and 70s.
Inside, the striking centre console is inspired by a motorcycle fuel tank finished in high gloss with large twin chrome-ringed dials marking out the instrument binnacle, while the facia also features colour displays for the ventilation system.
With seating for five and a rear bench that splits and folds flat, plus a hatchback boot with hidden storage space, the Juke is both roomy and practical.
And for owners who like to put their own stamp on their car, a full range of accessories has been developed to personalise the Juke.
Customers will also be able to see the new Juke for real on 9th July 2010 when one of the first production vehicles lands at the dealership for a ‘one night only’ preview event. And for those who simply can’t wait for the official start of sales in September, early orders are being taken from 1st June.
